Wow, 7 years already! That’s quite a long time!
Yes I really like working here. DevRepublic culture supports learning and development. Its Employee friendly. We got opportunities to work on projects with new concepts of mobile technologies. I like cake cutting, dinner parties with Dutch family and games organised in office. Also I am very proud of my achievement in getting employee of the month November 2019 and now in August 2021.
Can you tell us a little bit about your working days?
First I start with tea/coffee. Then I Check JIRA for daily task update and
Daily StandUp meeting with Team members and discuss projects. Then I update GIT/SourceTree for latest project code sync up, using tools like Zeplin for design, Postman for API. Collaboratively working with mobile team as well as with QA, communicate with Backend and Admin team when needed. Then I update Dutch team about project status and communicating with project manager, delivering and taking followups of customer feedback and provide update in timely manner. Working days goes nice with lunch- and tea breaks.
Are you still working from home?
Yes I am still working from home. DevRepublic is very supportive to employees in times of world pendamic by giving work from home. I am working from home as efficiently as work from office. Missing tea breaks and lunch breaks with colleagues.
Well, lets hope you will see everyone in real life soon! Any other future dreams you have?
Yes Team leading, client communication and keeping myself updated with latest technologies & latest iOS concepts.
Can you tell us something about your experience in working with Dutch people?
Dutch team always keeps us motivating to work efficiently. Good management on Jira tickets flow and task details. Received quick feedback (almost on same day) by Dutch team on test builds. Dutch team keeps us updating about their client meetings.
There are also typical Dutch things I like, such as small shoe Ccogs with windmill blue and white design and same coffee mugs, which John gave to us when he was at India. I also like dutch chocolates, wafels and tulips.
Congratulations with getting employee of the month August!
