Job description
As a Business Analyst you will discuss new or changing needs with the customer. You analyze these needs and translate them into adequate solutions. Your work varies from writing user stories to advising on alternative IT solutions. Your range of tasks is versatile, because you:

• Identifies the needs of the business;
• Translates this to value for the customer;
• Analyzes, describes and models business processes;
• Collects and analyzes (functional) requirements;
• Works with the development teams to realize these requirements;
• Analyzes the impact of proposed changes.

For this, you enter into a conversation with users and management at the customer. That is your basis for determining the IT need. You work together with the product owner and the other members of the team. You advise and support the customer on complex issues regarding processes, applications and functionalities and you translate business challenges into useful advice and criteria.
Your duties include:

• Maintaining contact with the customer, where you listen to the customer's needs;
• Translating this wish into a solution, together with your development team, using an Agile / Scrum method;
• Keeping an overview, good prioritization and monitoring the planning;
• Ensure optimal customer satisfaction upon completion of the project;

About DevRepublic
At DevRepublic we help our customers realize smart digital solutions. We do this by deploying development teams and helping to digitize business processes. From architecture to realization, we feel responsible and we think along with our clients. DevRepublic currently consists of 10 employees in the Netherlands and 55 employees in India. We work with several multidisciplinary teams, each of which manages its own customer portfolio. To support the teams, we are now looking for a Business Analyst in Zwolle, who can translate customer needs into technical possibilities.

Requirements
As a person you independently tackle (complex) projects and work goal-oriented. You are ambitious and efficient in achieving the set goals. When several projects are running simultaneously, you are able to maintain an overview and set the right priorities. You are a critical and driven professional who likes to transfer knowledge to colleagues. You are an all-round (Senior) Business Analyst and you enjoy customer contact. Analyzing and switching quickly are skills that you enjoy and are good at.

What do we expect from you?

• Drawing up functional specifications and technical modelling;
• Translating functional questions into concrete solutions in processes and systems;
• Contribute to achieving the agile levels for the team;
• Coordination of team/department with transcending tasks (possibly in consultation with your scrum master).

We also ask:

• HBO work & thinking level, where a completed HBO is an advantage;
• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Experience with working according to the Agile/SCRUM methodology;
• Knowledge of IT Architecture, requirements analysis, modeling and design methods and techniques;
• Feel for translating functionalities into user stories;
• Has leadership/directing abilities.
